I am going to miss my kitty cat, Zeus. He decided he was going to go play with Greda and Theodore up in heaven. Zeus lived a wonderful life. He was 16 years old. He has been with me through everything. When I was little I picked him out and got our picture taken and it got put in the paper. How can you not get the cat when you have your picture with the kitty posted all over the paper. Well we got Zeus and he has been with me through life. I love him to death and am sad to seem him go. I know one thing is for sure...he is a better place now. It will be a hard couple of weeks and months to come, but I know I have to take it one day at a time.
I love you, Zeus!

Forgiveness
Why do we need forgiveness?
Why does God provide forgiveness?
How do we personally recieve God's forgiveness?
Romans 3: 9-12
Well then, should we conclude that we Jews are better than others? No, not at all, for we have already shown that all people, whether Jews or Gentiles,[a] are under the power of sin. 10 As the Scriptures say,
“No one is righteous—
not even one.
11 No one is truly wise;
no one is seeking God.
12 All have turned away;
all have become useless.
No one does good,
not a single one.”
Romans 5:12
2 Corinthians 5:21

Why does God provide forgiveness?
How do we personally recieve God's forgiveness?
- Live as a person of forgiveness
- GIVE UP you claim to be RIGHT!
- Trust God to handle those who wrong you
- If they are Christians, they will have to face this on judgement day
Greek word for sin (hamartia) means:
- To miss the mark
- to do or go wrong
- To be free of guilt and sin
- To be conformed to God's standards not mans
Romans 3: 9-12

Romans 5:12
- Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, an ddeath through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned.
2 Corinthians 5:21
- God made him who had no sin to be sin for us so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
How do we personally recieve God's forgiveness?
- Agree with God that you have sinned (1 John 1:9)
- Take responsibility for your sins (Stop blaming others-Get real!)
- Tekk God you are willing to make restitution if necessary (Take responsibility--Matthew 5:23-24)
- Thank God for the blood of Jesus that cleanses you from all sin and in faith accept His forgiveness
- Take God at His word (Romans 8:1)
- Thank God for the gift of His Holy Spirit. Desire to walk by Spirit not by flesh (Galatians 5:16)
